SIETAR AUSTIN is a dynamic group of people from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds dedicated to the challenges and rewards of intercultural relations.
As a forum of interculturalists, we bring people together to bridge cultural differences and explore commonalities through intercultural programs, training workshops, and informal conversations.
Our mission is to promote peace and growth through intercultural learning, awareness, and understanding.
For those who are interested in socializing and networking with a culturally diverse group, SIETAR AUSTIN has a monthly get-together every second Saturday of the month, 7 pm, at one of Austin's great ethnic restaurants. As we like to try out a different place every month, please see our homepage for venue details or ask to be added to our mailing list. All are welcome.
Professional seminars, events, and national conference are scheduled throughout the year.
SIETAR AUSTIN is an affiliate of SIETAR USA and part of a network of similar SIETAR societies that span the globe. SIETAR holds Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) status with the United Nations and the Council of Europe.
